The IT sector is booming in India, and youngsters find coding one of the most sought-after skills. Thanks to more technologies needing skilled developers to tackle modern-day challenges.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, this demand gives aspiring coders a shot at making it big, just like Baljeet from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh.<\/p>\n

Hailing from Khurja, Uttar Pradesh, Baljeet was part of CQ’s SuperCoders Program, and upon completing the course, he was placed at Capillary Technologies as a Software Engineer.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy parents always wanted me to become an engineer, and since I had a passion for coding, my goal was always to become a software engineer. So I will forever be grateful for CodeQuotient. My goal was unreachable before I joined CodeQuotient, but they gave me the knowledge and skills to achieve my dream,\u201d<\/i> says Baljeet.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Here\u2019s his inspirational story and how he made it to his dream career.<\/p>\n

The Beginning of a Dream Career<\/b><\/h2>\n

Baljeet learned to code at the age of 15.<\/p>\n

He was introduced to Java at school. In the beginning, he found it quite challenging to code, yet it intrigued him.<\/p>\n

It took him a few months to learn to code, but he realised that he wasn\u2019t that good at it but still found it fascinating.<\/p>\n

He loved the idea of learning a new coding language and building something out of it. So he decided to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Computer Applications (BCA) to follow his dream of becoming a software engineer. After college, he had two options: he could either get a master’s degree or pursue a job.<\/p>\n

For Baljeet, a job seemed like a better option, so he searched for professional certifications that could help him find one.<\/p>\n

In this way, he ended up on CodeQuotient\u2019s website. Then, he decided to enrol in CodeQuotient\u2019s SuperCoder\u2019s Program<\/a> to upskill himself.<\/p>\n

His technical knowledge and experience were both bleak, so he felt the need to work on himself to get into the IT field.<\/p>\n

Baljeet\u2019s Experience with CodeQuotient<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u201cI was apprehensive when I joined CodeQuotient, and I wasn’t sure if I would get placed. But, gradually, with the support, I built confidence in myself and felt everything would turn out well,\u201d<\/i> Baljeet says.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Joining CodeQuotient has been a productive and rewarding experience for him.<\/p>\n

Through this course, he learned novel and advanced skills about programming languages which weren\u2019t taught to him in college to the core.<\/p>\n

For instance, CodeQuotient\u2019s SuperCoder programme<\/a> was much more advanced and structured to learn than a college curriculum. It added to his skills and improved his coding, taking his developing skills to the next level.<\/p>\n

Although he already had some experience with programming languages, he was new to data structures, algorithms <\/b>and other aspects of coding that would help him become a successful software engineer.<\/p>\n

While the highly efficient structured course is CodeQuotient\u2019s credit, Baljeet, with his sheer perseverance and determination, began learning regularly.<\/p>\n

His dedicated practise and determination helped him stay on track with the SuperCoder\u2019s programme.<\/p>\n

After completing the course, within three months of joining, he had become a full-stack developer, ready to take on real-life challenges. He believes his love for coding and supportive instructors at CodeQuotient made him complete this course successfully.<\/p>\n

And the fact that CodeQuotient\u2019s instructors covered so much of the programme comprehensively made it easy for him to understand and implement what he learned!<\/p>\n

SuperCoder’s programme provided him with knowledge of industry projects and how to approach them as a professional.<\/p>\n

Placement Assistance by CodeQuotient<\/b><\/h2>\n

Baljeet\u2019s career journey changed when he was asked to give an interview at Capillary Technologies<\/b> for the position of Software Engineer.<\/p>\n

At that time, he was about to complete the course and was a bit hesitant about whether to go for this interview. He discussed this with his program managers at CodeQuotient, and they encouraged him to go for it if he was confident with what he had learned so far.<\/p>\n

Baljeet believed in himself and appeared for the test.<\/p>\n

Having gained some experience through mock interviews, Baljeet was finally prepared to interview for a Software engineer position at Capillary technologies.<\/p>\n

Baljeet\u2019s recruiters gave much weight to the projects he did with CodeQuotient and impressed them with the knowledge gained in such a short period.<\/p>\n

Baljeet felt extremely happy and satisfied with the idea of working for Capillary Technologies as their software engineer. He is thankful to his parents and CodeQuotient for supporting him in sitting for the interview right after completing the course.<\/p>\n

For a small-town person like Baljeet, this was an exciting opportunity to kick-start his career. Since his placement was successful at Capillary Technologies, he has loved what he is doing and feels like he is living his dream!<\/p>\n
