The objective of the program is to encourage young students and give them an opportunity to compete with the best coders in the country. Top performers in the competition win exciting prizes every year along with an opportunity to work with Infosys.<\/p>\n<h2><b>HackWithInfy Eligibility Criteria<\/b><\/h2>\n<p>HackWithInfy is open to all final-year engineering students of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">B.E.\/B.Tech<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">M.E.\/M.Tech<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students from all registered engineering institutes in India are eligible to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Infosys is basically looking for programmers who are <b>full-stack developers<\/b> and who possess the following aptitude:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Passionate about programming and coding<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Willing to achieve breakthrough innovation<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Desire to solve tough challenges<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Eager to embrace open source technologies<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Innovative about next-gen tech<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Wants to find the &#8220;why&#8221; rather than the &#8220;how&#8221; of coding technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><b>HackWithInfy: How to Register<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-87\" src=\"https:\/\/codequotient.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/How-to-Register.jpg\" alt=\"How-to-Register\" width=\"1480\" height=\"774\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><strong>HackWithInfy 2021 Dates: Exam Schedule<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The HackWithInfy 2021 will be conducted in two rounds:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Round 1: May 5, 7, and 9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An online individual participation round on the Infosys Assessment Platform.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Final round (virtual Grand Finale): July 2 \u2013 July 5, 2021<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The 48-hour hackathon among teams and the Grand Finale above all were hosted on Infosys Meridian.<\/p>\n<p>The top 100 participants from Round 1 will compete in the four-day virtual grand finale in July 2021. The finalists will also get an opportunity for a pre-placement interview for the Power Programmer role at Infosys.<\/p>\n<p>So, now that you know the dates. It&#8217;s time to register. After each round, participants get informed of the results through email. Those who have successfully cleared the round also receive guidelines for the next round.<\/p>\n<p>HackWithInfy is all about coming up with an efficient solution for a given problem statement. There is no particular syllabus for either round, but here is the list of coding problem topics that every participant needs to prepare:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Dynamic Programming<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Greedy Algorithms<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Backtracking<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Stack<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Queue<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Mapping Concepts<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Array manipulation<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">String manipulation<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Tree<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Graph<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Bit Mapping and Hashing<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Recursion and Heap<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Divide and Conquer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Selection Procedure<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-91\" src=\"https:\/\/codequotient.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/Selection-Procedure.jpg\" alt=\"Selection-Procedure\" width=\"1480\" height=\"774\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The first round is a single-participant online challenge. Students have to solve three problems with varying levels of complexity within three hours.<\/p>\n<p>The top students from round 1 are selected to participate in the grand finale of the competition. In the final round, finalists not only participate in the hackathon but are also acquainted with the culture and work at Infosys through various interactive sessions.<\/p>\n<p>Finalists are divided into teams and are offered to select one problem statement from five options. Although, the problem statements are really based on real technology-based challenges that the world is grappling with. The teams have to <b>create an end-to-end solution<\/b> for the problem statement they selected.<\/p>\n<p>The finalists are expected to use artificial intelligence, machine learning and insights, facial recognition, real-time location tracking, computer security, 3D modelling, etc. Each team will also be assigned a mentor, who would guide them in creating a solution for the selected problem statement and ensure that the solution is implemented to a satisfactory level in the assigned time.<\/p>\n<h3><b>Evaluation<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The Judges assess the following parameters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Code Efficiency<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Difficulty level and solutions provided accordingly<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\">Plagiarism is not allowed. There is a negative marking for plagiarism.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><b>Prize<\/b><\/h3>\n<p>The solutions created by the teams would be judged by a panel of senior industry leaders of Infosys.
