• To pass the NIMCET qualifying exam, candidates must achieve at least 60% of their total marks or a 6.5 CGPA on a scale of ten. For SC/ST applicants, a minimum grade of 55% is needed, or a CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10.

NIMCET Exam 2023 Result Dates

In July 2023, the NIMCET 2023 results will be released. The NIT will make the exam results available online on the official website. The hall ticket number and password are the login credentials needed to download NIMCET 2023 results. Candidates who pass the entrance exam will be entitled to sign up for the NIMCET counselling and seat allocation process.

To check the NIMCET 2023 result, follow these steps:

1.     Visit the exam’s official website.
2.     On the website, select the “result link.”
3.     Enter the password and hall ticket number.
4.     Press the “login” button.
5.     The outcome will show up on the screen.

NOTE: No separate rank card will be provided; therefore, candidates should download the NIMCET 2023 rank card.

The minimum marks necessary for a candidate to pass the exam are the NIMCET minimum qualifying marks. The minimum passing score is determined by several factors, including the number of vacancies, the number of candidates, the difficulty of the test, the cutoff scores, and others.

Although the commission has not yet posted the NIMCET cutoff Marks 2023 on the official website, you should be aware of NIMCET Annexure No. 13, which lists the following criteria based on which each participating NIT will determine a closing rank for each category.

The maximum allowable score will be 1000 marks, calculated by multiplying the candidates’ marks in each exam topic.

•       By a factor of 1.5 in both analytical ability and logical thinking.
•       By a factor of 1 in English

Candidates will be ranked higher if they receive the maximum number of points. If two or more candidates receive the same score, the tie will be resolved according to the following guidelines:

• Candidates who score higher in mathematics will be ranked higher.
• In the relationship still exists, the person who scored higher on logical reasoning will be placed higher.
• In the event of another tie, the candidate with the higher score in computer awareness will be given a higher ranking.
• If there is still a tie, precedence will be given to the older candidate.

Candidates will be rejected from the NIMCET 2023 admissions process if they receive zero or negative grades in mathematics or overall. Candidates who meet the required qualifying requirements will be shortlisted and contacted for NIMCET 2023 counselling and seat allocation.

Counselling for the NIMCET 2023 exam will start as soon as the results are released. Candidates who have qualified for the NIMCET 2023 exam may participate in the counselling procedure. The shortlisted candidates will be given a selection of institutions from which to choose their desired seats.

Candidates will be contacted for NIMCET 2023 counselling based on their exam results. Both online and offline modes will be used for the counselling process. The candidates don’t have to submit a separate application for the counselling process.

Certain factors are included in the commencement of the NIMCET 2023 counselling process. Applicants will be admitted based on their preferences and merit list. Selected candidates must show up at the designated centres with the necessary documentation.

To avail of the services of the counselling sessions, candidates must first register. The steps below are to be followed:
