Coding is one of the most sought-after skills as more technologies need to be developed to meet the ever-growing demand. This gives aspiring coders a shot at making it big, just like Allahabad’s Chhavi Pandey.
Chhavi was part of CQ’s SuperCoders Program and is now an Associate Software Engineer Intern with Indus Valley Partners.
This is her story!
Chhavi Pandey’s Inspirational Journey From a Learner to an Associate Software Engineer InternÂ
Chhavi’s primary intent to join the SuperCoders program was to learn Data structure and Algorithm or DSA, something she struggled with during her college days.
She wanted to learn DSA well to stand a chance in interviews and be at par with the growing requirements of the tech market. “I didn’t know it at all, but now I am reasonably confident when it comes to it”, says Chhavi.
Chhavi says that before the training began, the CodeQuotient team rightfully informed all the selected students about the rigorous training and the program expectations, which helped them be mentally prepared from the get-go.
Chhavi mentions that the entrance test was the right balance of being practical yet ensuring it could identify students who could cope with the rigorous training.
CodeQuotient is a great place to learn concepts from scratch with highly qualified and interactive teachers. “The foundation is given a lot of importance, so I knew my basics would be sorted”, says Chhavi.
Problem-solving approach
Chhavi also says the curriculum and problem-solving approach has also been beneficial in other avenues and massive overlap. “For example, in the 10 days placement preparation course, we got to deep-dive into DBMS, unlike at college, which I believe will help me a lot.”
The Companies and packages that CodeQiotient offers and the training are superior to her college, Chhavi mentions. “More service-based companies come in college, but production companies are less frequent, unlike CodeQuotient. The product companies that manage to come to require a different standard of coding skills that our college isn’t equipped to handle”.
Personal interaction
Chhavi explains how the personal interaction with teachers and the feeling of approachability and asking any doubt, big or small, is a commendable feature of the program.
This is especially worth talking about as online classes pose this challenge, wherein the interaction with the trainers proves to be a challenge. Eventually, the attention span fades, and so does the interest in the topic or the course at large.
More than could’ve hoped!
Once Chhavi was enrolled in the SuperCoders program, her experience with CodeQuotient instructors was more than she could have hoped.

Chhavi says, “I liked that we had a good group of people in my cohort. The instructors were great. The way they taught the curriculum was impactful and taught me much more than I experienced in college. I learned how to code in a professional but comfortable environment where questions are always welcomed. The trainers made it an all-around better, awesome experience.”
Struggling concepts were now easier to grasp
When asked about how her SuperCoders experience differed from her previous coding knowledge in college, Chhavi made a telling comment – “concepts I struggled with before were easier to grasp once I was in the program. In addition, the instructors made sense of complicated features, making it all in all a unique experience you can’t find just anywhere.”
Chhavi found the classroom environment to be perfectly set up for success. CodeQuotient aims to create an environment from day one that makes it easy for everyone to thrive, with no hostility and no such thing as a ‘dumb’ question.
Values beyond classroom
Chhavi found that Code Quotient’s educational values didn’t end with in-class instruction. The instructors were extremely accommodating in their willingness to provide outside-of-class tutoring, making learning to code more accessible.
These opportunities for additional education, such as the placement training, combined with collaborative study sessions, ensured success for students like Chhavi.
Chhavi talks about how other courses can be crash-based. The objective is to finish the syllabus quickly and casually run through topics and subjects that might need more time and are somewhat difficult to grasp.
In CodeQuotient, however, each lesson was given equal importance, with enough time spent on every topic. Furthermore, the trainers ensured that every student could get hold of all that was taught, and everybody was on the same page.
Chhavi concludes by saying. “I have used CodeQuotient to develop my skills and have also recommended it to juniors, batch mates and, in fact, anyone who wants to learn to code and make a name for themselves in the tech industry”.
Everybody relies on software applications, from digital social media to governments and multi-billionaire corporations. So learning to develop these technologies is now a valuable skill that you could master.
And what better place than CodeQuotient with their SuperCoders Program?
