What are the Eligibility Criteria for WILP?

Below are the eligibility criteria for WILP:

  • Education: You should have passed the 10th and 12th standards. Additionally, as applicable to university or educational institution guidelines, you should have obtained a minimum of 6.0 CGPA or 60%.
  • Year of Passing: Your passing years should be 2023 or 2024 at the commencement of graduation.
  • Qualification: You should have a degree in either BCA (Bachelor of Computer Application). Alternatively, a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Mathematics, Physics, or Statistics.
  • Open school or distance education is allowed but only up to 10th or 12th.
  • You can have a maximum of one backlog at the time of online assessment.
  • You need to clear the backlogs by the 6th semester.
  • You should have studied core mathematics as a subject in your graduation. And Business Maths and Applied Maths are not considered Core Mathematics in Graduation.
  • There can be a maximum of 3 years of gap between the 10th and Graduation. However, no gaps are allowed between Graduation. You need to complete Graduation within three years.
  • You should be an Indian citizen, or if you hold a passport from another country, you should have a PIO or OCI card.
  • You must submit your citizenship certificate if you are a Bhutan or Nepal national.
  • Candidates who have completed the three-month cool-off period will be invited to the test process.

Note: If you are selected for the test process, you will receive an offer letter. Once you accept the offer letter, you will be designated as a Scholar Trainee for the Wipro internship.

WILP Stipend Details: Internship for BCA students in Wipro

  • For the first year, you will receive a ₹15,000/ month stipend. Additionally, you will receive ₹488 as an ESI contribution. Lastly, you will receive a joining bonus of ₹75,000 with your first month’s stipend.
  • The second-year stipend is ₹17,000/ month. In addition, you will get 533 as an ESI contribution.
  • The third-year stipend is ₹19,000/ month. Additionally, you receive 618 as an ESI contribution.
  • Lastly, the fourth-year stipend is ₹23,000.

Additional benefits include:

  • Full M. Tech degree sponsorship by Wipro.
  • 14 Lakhs p.a. group life insurance.
  • 12 Lakhs p.a. group personal accident cover.

After you complete the internship and become a permanent employee, you will be designated Senior Project Engineer. Moreover, your compensation would be 6,00,000 p.a. and upwards, depending on performance.

After completing the WILP program, you will apply for a performance bonus. At the end of the first three years at Wipro, you are liable to receive a performance bonus between INR 1,00,000 and INR 1,50,000.

Do you Need to Sign a Training Agreement for WILP?

Yes, Wipro makes you sign a training agreement of 60 months while joining.

However, if you leave the organisation before five years, you are liable to pay INR 75,000 on a pro-rata basis.

What is The Selection Pattern for WILP?

The selection process for this internship for BCA students in Wipro is as follows.

  • The first is an online assessment of 80 minutes.
  • Next, you have an aptitude test with 20 verbal, analytical, and quantitative questions. You will have 20 minutes for every section.
  • Next, you have a written communication test of 20 minutes.
  • If you get selected in the online assessment, candidates must go through the Business Discussion Round.

Note: You are ineligible for WILP if you have participated in any selection process by Wipro in the past three months.
