TCS Digital has an excellent profile. However, technical skill is an essential requirement for this role. Balancing technical knowledge with creativity will give you the most productive experience. The package is ₹6.5-7.5 Lacs per annum.

This recruitment process is an excellent way for freshers to enter the company, as it has three stages of selection and appropriate compensation. TCS is looking for candidates with strong technical skills who know the nuances of blockchain technology and artificial intelligence.

The roles and responsibilities for the TCS Digital profile—The system automatically matches someone with the right challenges and performance level to a suitable unit tailored to their capabilities. ‘A Digital’ is given a software project based on Machine Learning, the Internet of Things, etc.

TCS Ninja vs TCS Digital

The Online Test Duration for TCS Ninja is 180 minutes, while it takes only 110 minutes for TCS Digital. Despite TCS Digital’s shorter test duration, its questions are much more complex than TCS Ninja’s.

You can apply online for TCS Ninja, but you can also use your university’s placement cell for TCS Digital. You can apply for both TCS NQT and TCS Digital simultaneously.

As mentioned before, TCS Digital’s salary package is much higher than that of TCS Ninja. However, even if you couldn’t qualify for TCS Digital and only qualified for TCS Ninja, you have the option to upgrade yourself to TCS Digital. Once onboard, you can change your profile to Digital only six times. TCS has an in-house confirmation process for Digital, and if you are successful, they will convert you into a System Engineer position (TCS Digital).

To enter the TCS NQT, candidates from non-TCS and non-premium colleges should select “TCS Ninja” or “TCS Digital” when registering. Regarding eligibility, any candidates from any university can apply for TCS Ninja. But, for TCS Digital, candidates from TCS Elite Institutions and Universities can only apply for the role.

For TCS Ninja, the process is as follows: an online assessment is followed by a face-to-face interview. The interview will cover both the technical and HR aspects of the job. An HR person and a technical interviewer will run through several questions to assess your suitability for the job. TCS Digital will conduct a face-to-face interview after the technical assessment.
