Dr. Rana believes that the quality of education is more important than quantity. It’s merely because, regardless of how many texts you read, you won’t comprehend any subject until you pay attention to it.
As the world moves faster toward big technological advancements, the knowledge of skills required is more important than the no. of certificates. Quality education places a greater emphasis on skill level. Hence, it is far more crucial than the quantity of education.

2. Soft Skills
According to Dr. Rana, soft skills are extremely important, no matter your skill set. Especially in engineering, developing soft skills is not something that college curricula often cover. Instead of being considered a general professional skill, it is recognised as a sales talent. But as new employment roles develop, everyone must be proficient in soft skills. One realises the actual worth of soft skills while facing high-pressure situations.
3. Avoid Procrastination
Although the consequences of procrastination may not initially appear, they can accumulate over time and cause worry, anxiety, dashed dreams, and low self-esteem. Procrastination may be a severe issue for students since falling behind on the pace of school work can be detrimental. In addition, it leads to piling up of things with no or little knowledge of required skills.
We require a push to go from a condition of rest into activity. Develop time management skills so you can deal with procrastination as it arises rather than letting it rule your life.
4. Be Consistent
Have you ever stayed up late studying only to realise that staying awake in class the next day requires more effort? If so, a modification is necessary. Successful students rarely attempt to squeeze all of their studying into just one or two sessions. Instead, they divide the syllabus across shorter periods of time. You must learn to be consistent in your studies. Have frequent and brief study sessions if you want to be a good learner. Read and complete your work regularly instead of putting it off for the next day.
5. Keep On Growing
A business or academic institution will always prefer hiring a candidate with practical experience. Working on real projects throughout your undergraduate years is the greatest method to establish one’s profile as a developer.
Once you gain experience with projects in college, try out stipend-based or free internships to gain real-life experience. This can be easily followed by freelancing, consultancy or projects for major businesses.
